Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
Skills
Scottish DBS (PVG) on the system.
Experience in senior care or home care is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dementia care practices is an advantage.
Previous experience in hospice care is beneficial but not essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic cooking skills for meal preparation are required.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties.
