We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and private homes. Duties

Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia Administer medication following prescribed schedules and protocols Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs Support patients with mobility challenges through safe transfer and heavy lifting when necessary Manage behaviour issues with patience and effective behaviour management techniques Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance mental well-being Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required Monitor health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or concerns

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is preferred Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration and first aid certification is desirable Experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, or senior care will be considered an asset Familiarity with behaviour management strategies for individuals with cognitive impairments Childcare experience is a plus for roles involving family clients or younger dependents Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in accordance with health and safety guidelines Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring transportation duties
