Job Description

Otter Homecare is a home care company based in Trowbridge, providing bespoke care services to people living throughout Wiltshire and Somerset.

We offer an industry leading weekly rate of 800 per week.



Please note: all Live In Carers must have authorisation to work in the UK and currently be living in the country.

Our vision is to always provide the highest quality care to the elderly and those in need. But what does it take to become a Live In Carer? No prior experience needed, however, some form of personal or professional experience is preferred.

As a Live In Carer you will be living with one of our customers for a week or more to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, but also to help them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they've made there.

Our Live In Carers benefit from:



A weekly rate of 800

Petrol paid at 45p

per mile

Paid

induction and training

DBS costs refunded

after passing probation

Fully funded diplomas

Requirements of our Live In Carers:



Full, UK driving licence with access to your own reliable vehicle Ability to live with our clients for certain periods of time Authorisation to work in the UK and currently living in the country, local to this role. Unfortunately, we're unable to provide any form of sp?ns?rship for this role.

As a Live In Carer you will typically provide care and support to our clients with the following duties:



Light housekeeping. Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming. Helping with the preparation of nutritious meals. Help administer and schedule prescribed medications. Run errands where required, such as grocery shopping and prescription collection. Support with safe movements and support with any prescribed exercises. Provide companionship and social interaction. Accompany clients to appointments, social events or other outings. Observe and report any changes in the client's condition.
