Live-In Housekeeping Opportunity - Blackpool Hotel/Guest house. Position Available: Live-In Housekeeper/Cleaner. (Must have previous experience) There will also be some guest interactions so we want somebody bubbly and friendly. This is a non-salaried position focused entirely on the exchange of rent-free accommodation for service. All applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK. We are offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team at a hotel in Blackpool in exchange for rent-free accommodation. The Offer and Accommodation Details. In exchange for approximately 24 hours of work per week, you will receive free accommodation in a private spare room within the manager's downstairs apartment. This is a very small room suitable primarily for sleeping and storage. The bathroom and kitchen facilities within the apartment are shared exclusively with the manager (not shared with hotel guests or other staff). Once your daily cleaning and housekeeping duties are completed, you are free to come and go as you please. Visitor Policy: Very important. As the accommodation is a private apartment shared with the manager, we maintain a strict policy of no visitors. This means friends, family, or partners cannot be hosted or stay overnight in the apartment at any time. This ensures a comfortable and private living environment for both residents. This arrangement provides a significant saving on living expenses, ideal for someone looking to minimize costs. The Role (24 Hours Per Week) The work required is simple, housekeeping and cleaning tasks, totaling around 24 hours per week. This involves the cleaning and preparation of hotel guest rooms, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of communal areas within the hotel. The schedule for the 24 hours will be agreed upon to fit both the hotel's needs and your availability, ideally spread across the week.
