We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
Manage food production schedules to meet service demands
Assist in menu planning and development to enhance customer satisfaction
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies to minimise waste
Serve dishes in a timely manner while maintaining presentation quality
Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Experience
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Experience with kitchen management systems and inventory control is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles demonstrating leadership capabilities
