experienced and motivated
Livery Yard Manager to oversee daily operations and provide exceptional care for both horses and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Equine Care & Yard Management
- Confidently handle a variety of horses, maintain paddocks, fields and facilities, manage the yard worming program, and oversee all standard yard duties.
Client Support
- Assist livery clients with equine care, ensuring excellent communication and a welcoming environment.
Team Leadership
- Supervise the livery team, coordinate tasks, and foster a collaborative and efficient workplace.
Supplier & Administrative Liaison
- Manage records, liaise with suppliers, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Holiday Accommodation Support
- Work alongside the holiday let team for guest changeovers and provide customer assistance.
Ideal Candidate:
BHS-qualified
with
hands-on equine experience
, physically fit, and passionate about horse care.
Strong leadership
and problem-solving skills, able to take
initiative
and work effectively both
independently and as part of a team
.
Commercially minded
with a keen eye for managing resources efficiently.
Excellent time management
and organizational skills.
Own transport
is required due to location.
Experience in Hospitality or Retail
