Livery Yard Manager to oversee daily operations and provide exceptional care for both horses and clients.Key Responsibilities:
Equine Care & Yard Management
- Confidently handle a variety of horses, maintain paddocks, fields and facilities, manage the yard worming program, and oversee all standard yard duties.Client Support
- Assist livery clients with equine care, ensuring excellent communication and a welcoming environment.Team Leadership
- Supervise the livery team, coordinate tasks, and foster a collaborative and efficient workplace.Supplier & Administrative Liaison
- Manage records, liaise with suppliers, and ensure smooth daily operations.Holiday Accommodation Support
- Work alongside the holiday let team for guest changeovers and provide customer assistance.Ideal Candidate:
BHS-qualified
withhands-on equine experience
, physically fit, and passionate about horse care.Strong leadership
and problem-solving skills, able to takeinitiative
and work effectively bothindependently and as part of a team
.Commercially minded
with a keen eye for managing resources efficiently.Excellent time management
and organizational skills.Own transport
is required due to location.Experience in Hospitality or Retail
