Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for hard working JCB/Shovel loader driver to join a large manufacturer of bagged aggregate at our new facility in Hallen, Bristol, BS10

This is a full time permanent position.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Role

Working in a manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of manufacturing and the dispatch of loose aggregates into poly and bulk bagged products.

Key Activities/Responsibilities.

Operate a loading shovel Loading material into hopper Perform routine maintenance such as morning walk round checks on equipment used, and; reporting any damage/faults to management Loading vehicles for dispatch and moving finished goods into storage Communicating information between production machines, site foreman and the office

The Candidate.

Must have experience driving a loading shovel Loading shovel license required Must have a good work ethic and be hard working Professional and effective communication skills with colleagues Calm under pressure and proactive in solving problems Reliable, excellent attendance and timekeeping Willingness to learn and develop Excellent attention to detail Can work in a team and independently

Hourly Rate

From 12.21 per hour, 39 hours per week, 'time and a half' paid thereafter. Wage negotiable dependent on experience.

Some weekend work may also be required.

Qualifications and Skills

Loading shovel license & experience

Counterbalance Forklift certificate
