Roles and Responsibilities
As
Loading Team Leader
, you will oversee the smooth running of our afternoon loading operations, ensuring all processes meet regulatory standards and service expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of warehouse staff to safely and compliantly load vehicles to GDP and MHRA standards.
Enforcing health and safety procedures, reporting all accidents and near misses promptly.
Maintaining site security by ensuring restricted areas are monitored and access-controlled.
Ensuring temperature-controlled products and controlled drugs are handled according to strict protocols.
Managing team training and performance to maximise efficiency and adherence to company standards.
Completing and submitting all HR, payroll, and operational documentation within set deadlines.
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy in all loading and transport documentation.
Communicating clearly across departments to support a cohesive warehouse-to-transport process.
Taking on keyholding responsibilities as part of site security and leadership.
What We're Looking For From You
We're looking for a confident and experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence.
Essential:
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics systems.
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
PC literate with sound administrative capabilities.
Proven ability to delegate, plan workloads, and make confident decisions.
Able to coach and motivate team members across all levels.
Highly organised with a focus on compliance and performance improvement.
Desirable:
