About the role
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the delivery of our products to local customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including tasks such as printing, labelling, and bagging.

What will you do?
Driving Duties
Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations.
Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries, taking into account traffic and weather conditions.
Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring that items are securely packed and protected during transit.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and follow company policies regarding driving and delivery protocols.
Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues or concerns.
Warehouse Duties
Preparation of the company's products in accordance with manufacturing procedures, work instructions and product specifications.
Keep the warehouse/loading bay clean, organised, and free of hazards, following health and safety guidelines.
Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Print, label and bag products.
Collaborate with other team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency.
Keep up to date with training for health and safety requirements.
Maintain high levels of attention to detail.
Prioritise jobs and have a clear plan for each day.
Where applicable manage agreed stocking levels ensuring stock rotation.
Accurately undertake month end stock counts and complete reporting.
Ensure all incoming materials and components meet the Company's specifications and requirements, complying with the requests of the purchase order.
The checking, inspection and booking of all incoming material and components used in the Company's products.
Your profile
The individual must have the right of residence and to work in the UK. They should be located within the specified territory.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or warehousing.
Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
