Barnardo's is working with Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS) to implement a new service to reduce inequalities within Maternity Services.
Maternity, Neonatal Voices Partnerships (MNVP) will need to include and listen well to women, birthing people and families from those backgrounds which tend to experience poorer outcomes, including black, Asian and ethnic minority women and women from deprived areas.
As an Locality Engagement Co-ordinator a key area of focus will be to consider how we can best reach groups who are marginalised and how we can co-produce with these communities in a way which is meaningful and authentic to them in collaboration with a variety of external stakeholders.
We are looking to appoint an experienced co-ordinator who is highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to be part of this programme of work, delivering fast pace, high-quality practice and driving the programme with appropriate externally partners. Lived experience of Maternity and Neonatal Services within the last 5 years is essential.
This opportunity is working from home, however there is an expectation that the successful candidate will travel across the region Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and wider central region as necessary and therefore should have a Driving License and access to vehicle for business use purposes.
Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to 1st July 2027 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement. This contract is due to expire on 1st July 2027.
