Short-term Temporary Locum Phlebotomist - Brannam Medical Centre
Brannam Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Phlebotomist to join our nursing team on a short-term, temporary basis to support increased demand. We care for over 19,500 patients in the Barnstaple area and require someone who can start immediately or at short notice. Hours and rates of pay to be confirmed, depending on availability and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood samples using standard techniques Accurately label specimens and complete forms using appropriate systems Maintain adequate stock of phlebotomy supplies Conduct in-house warfarin monitoring in line with protocol
Essential Skills and Experience:
Fully qualified and experienced in phlebotomy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Caring, empathetic, and sensitive approach Strong IT skills and the ability to manage time effectively Able to work both independently and as part of a team Capable of working under pressure in a busy medical environment

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: 24,375.00-29,250.00 per year
