Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality clinical care in your assigned specialty, ensuring a focus on patient safety, quality, and effective management.
Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and outpatient services as required by the department.
Provide supervision, teaching, and mentorship to junior medical staff and medical students.
Take part in emergency care activities, including on-call and out-of-hours services, where applicable.
Maintain up-to-date clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and NHS standards.
Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, working collaboratively to optimize patient care pathways.
Assist in audit, research, and quality improvement projects within the department.
Participate in regular training, educational meetings, and clinical governance activities.
Ensure compliance with GMC (General Medical Council) regulations and Trust protocols.
Provide advice and support to other healthcare professionals and teams within the hospital.
Contribute to developing departmental policies and guidelines in line with current best practice and evidence-based medicine.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Essential:
Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
Completion of Foundation Training (F1/F2)
or equivalent, and currently holding the status of Senior Specialty Registrar (ST3-ST8) in a relevant specialty.
Full GMC Registration with a License to Practise

or evidence of equivalent experience (ST3 to ST8).
Evidence of clinical experience and competence in your specialty
