Job Description

We are seeking a Loft/Underfloor Insulation Labourer to join our installation team. We are looking for a reliable individual with experience using hand and power tools. While prior experience in insulation installation is preferred, it is not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

This role begins on a subcontractor basis (paid weekly at 100 per full day). Following a successful trial period, the role may transition into a permanent, full-time position. An immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities

Installing loft and underfloor insulation materials in domestic properties. Measuring and accurately cutting materials to fit specific areas. Applying and sealing insulation using various techniques (e.g., stapling, taping, or gluing) to ensure a high-quality, proper fit. Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets our quality standards.

Required Experience & Logistics

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is essential. Must possess a valid Driving Licence (required). Must live locally (Dunfermline/Rosyth/Inverkeithing area) or have reliable access to a personal vehicle to commute to the Rosyth office by 8:30 am to collect a work van. Previous experience in insulation, roofing, or building construction is advantageous. As the role involves working in domestic properties on a Government contract, a Basic Disclosure Check will be required.
