Job Description

Transport and Logistics: 2 years+ (Preferred) Driving Licence (Preferred) Previous understanding of order processing / Ecom solutions would be beneficial Excellent numeracy skills. Curious to learn about working models and suppliers capabilities to find opportunities for improvement in either cost or service provision. Analytical and good at problem solving with the ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and use own initiative. Ability to work logically and systematically with excellent attention to detail.

Role outline



The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Transport and logistics environment or in a similar role within a warehousing/fulfilment operation.

Will be the lead contact for operational teams and clients alike to provide guidance and insight relating to both B2C and B2B solutions provided by fulfilmentcrowd partners.

An active interest in taking on responsibility and playing an essential role in the growth of the business by finding creative solutions and consistent performance amongst a supplier base stretched multiple countries, time zones and languages.

Comfortable to make decisions based on available data/information without direct reference to colleagues for authorisation/confirmation.

Responsibilities including:

Support to the Chief Delivery Officer and work in partnership with current Logistics and Carrier Co-Ordinator Liasing with multiple parcel and freight carriers in the UK, EU, USA and soon to be Australia also. Take ownership to resolve problems for site managers, account managers and clients to ensure SLA's are maintained and improved. Analysis of SLA data from fulfilment network partners, carriers and external parties to support reviews of performance Understanding of commercial offers a carrier would make to a client - ability to review invoices and understand the detail in a complex environment Liaising between Customer Operations and third parties to resolve escalated queries and monitor the speed and quality of resolutions provided by the carrier partners Compliance checks on partners and liaison with all sites to ensure efficient operations of the carrier processes Happy to investigate shortcomings and variances within set timescales including putting forward options for avoidance in the future. Comfortable to advocate the fulfilmentcrowd position with external parties to resolve challenges favourably for the business. Vetting invoicing for clients on an ad hoc basis Provide a point of escalation for managing third parties to complete Imports/Exports throughout the fulfilmentcrowd network
Excellent standards of communications to external parties - written and verbal
