We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient running of our warehouse and distribution activities from end to end.

Job Summary

As Logistics and Warehouse Manager,

you will be responsible for overseeing the management of the warehousing function, from organisation and outbound logistics to stock control and staff management. You will manage your own fleet of vehicles and external freight optimisation and transport scheduling. You will also be responsible for the management of our Sport products Installation Team.

Key Responsibilities

Running daily manifests to despatch confirm orders and lorry loading processes

Manage the logistics team in the loading, delivery and care of all Harrod products

Efficient routing of customer deliveries on Harrod transport

Efficient organisation and management of our installation teams

Managing internal van and lorry drivers

Vehicle maintenance and tacho management

Working with external carriers

Management of Warehouse, personnel and stock control

Monthly budgeting including personnel and transport costs

Co-ordinate and complete employee performance reviews for the team

Produce monthly reporting statistics for the Board Directors

Ensuring adherence to Harrod UK Health & Safety policy & procedures at all times for both logistics and driver functions.

What we're looking for

Proven experience for a minimum of 5 years in a Logistics and Warehouse Management role

Strong leadership and team development skills

Solid understanding of inventory systems and logistics

Proven ability to solve problems and manage priorities effectively

Effective at planning and organisational skills

Knowledge of health and safety and logistics regulations

Knowledge of all current legislation regarding tachographs, lorry drivers and route planning will be incredibly beneficial.

Desirable qualifications

Degree or certification in Logistic or supply chain management

5 years' experience in similar role
