Are you a hands-on time-served technician with a passion for operational excellence, compliance, and innovation. L&Q CleanStart is looking for a

Machine Technician, and Warehouse Manager

to take ownership of our mechanical maintenance, warehouse operations, and logistics. This is a pivotal role that ensures our services run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Your impact in the role,

as the operational heartbeat of CleanStart, you will:


Deliver the management and maintenance of all machinery and plant. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal policies. Oversee warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics. Drive cost-effective purchasing and budget management throughout CleanStart. Champion sustainability by integrating environmentally friendly technologies. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and ensure all systems and records are up to date.

What you'll bring:

Technically skilled

- C&G/NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle/Machinery Maintenance (or equivalent) is essential.

Experienced

- Proven background in mechanical/electrical repair, compliance, and workshop operations.

Organised & Analytical

- Strong budget management and stock control experience.

A Natural Leader

- Able to influence, educate, challenge and support teams.

Problem Solver

- Self-motivated and able to plan your own schedules with changing requirements.

Tech-know how

- Confident using MS Suite to manage spend and stock control, also managing equipment and machinery.

Safety-focused

- Knowledge of H&S compliance and risk management is essential, using systems to record findings.

A full UK driving licence is required.


Qualifications like Facefit testing or ladder inspection are desirable, however training will be provided for these bespoke courses.
