Logistics Assistant

Helix Well Ops UK Ltd currently has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Assistant to join our Supply Chain Team, based onshore at Helix House, Dyce, UK.

The Logistics Assistant will support the Logistics Coordinator with the import and export of all Helix Well Ops (UK) Ltd goods.

esponsibilities include:

Handling UKCS movements. Prepare goods to export to Brazil. Ensuring completion of accurate customs records. Coordination of all non-domestic movements of Helix owned goods. Reviewing all freight rates for Air, Sea, Road and Courier quotations. Completion of all customs paperwork, including commercial invoices, export licences, dangerous goods notices. Ascertaining commodity codes, country of origins, values, weights etc. Liaising with the accounting function for invoice queries. Assist in logistical arrangements with Stores personnel. Assistance and involvement with Audits as required.

Experience/Skills required:

Experience of material logistics in the offshore oil and gas industry, preferably with some vessel related experience Experience of working with electronic purchasing systems Good interpersonal and communication skills Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills. Ability to manage workload and carry out tasks with little or no supervision. Proficient in the use of Microsoft and other software packages * International logistics experience (preferable)
