The Role
As a
Logistics Coordinator
, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from origin to destination. This
full-time, permanent
position offers a
remote/hybrid
working pattern, providing flexibility while allowing for collaborative in-person engagement when needed. You'll work
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
, managing logistical operations and contributing to our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any logistical issues or delays.
Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs paperwork.
Track and report on shipment statuses, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
Optimise routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintain accurate records of logistics activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of new logistics processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
About You
Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or coordination role.
Strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
Problem-solver with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote/hybrid team.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
