We are currently looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to help further support the sales function in terms of providing assistance in providing quotations, dealing with customer enquiries & other duties as reasonably requested.



What you'll be doing :



Schedule and monitor pickups and deliveries with hauliers and transport companies. Track shipments and resolve delays or issues Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments Provide updates on delivery status and resolve queries Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics teams Handle income phone calls Dealing with sales teams on a day to day basis in relation to their sales order


What you'll need:



2 years previous experience in this type of role. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel essential (Sage desirable) Knowledge of ISO 9001 (preferable) Knowledge of working in manufacturing environment (preferable) Experience working on sales quotations desirable Strong communication skills both written and verbal Excellent customer service and good telephone manner Self motivated and can work with minimum supervision
