WEEKLY PAY/ MONDAY TO FRIDAY/ SHIFT A- 5AM-2PM/SHIFT B- 2PM-10PM

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The main purpose of the role is to support the production team in meeting Quality, Cost and Delivery, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operating FLT/flexi truck and completion of safety checks.

2. Assist with the continuous improvement of cold storage and efficiencies.

3. Liaise with Logistics Manager in developing cold store/bay methods/solutions to accommodate improvement within the workplace

4. Ensure quality of the raw material and finished product is to customer standards on dispatch and unloading.

5. Accurate recording and stacking of finished product.

6. Accurate recording of despatch activities and paperwork completion.

7. Load trailers safely and timely to achieve despatch deadlines.

8. Complete paperwork as required for the tasks undertaken.

9. Ensure daily / weekly / monthly stock counts to support Stock Controller and Planning in achieving accurate records for forward production planning.

10. Assist with weekend working as and when required.

11. Attend training courses as required to carry out operational tasks efficiently, effectively, and safely.

12. Monitor and maintain hygiene of internal and external despatch area.

13. Assist with control of cold stores and product temperature during intake and despatch, ensuring all information is recorded and it meets Three Oceans and BRC standards.

14. Monitor and report any damage or potential improvements needed for the area.

15. Maintain a safe working environment in all areas

17. Oversee performance management objectives for all logistics operatives

18. Supervision of staff within the department, including task allocation, job rotation

19. Administrative duties to assist with the smooth running of the department.

21. Assist with the planning assumptions to aid customer daily despatch against plan

22. Support logistics administrators in any absence covering fresh records.

23. Assist and aid with the intake of any bulk oil deliveries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00 per hour
