We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.

Job Purpose




To execute tasks in the most efficient, safe, professional, and profitable manner possible, adhering to environmental and DVSA legislation at all times.

Overall responsibility for all Waste Transport operations and administration.

Key Deliverables



You will be required to effectively and efficiently manage the Waste Transport fleet in accordance with customer, company, contractual and legislative requirements. To develop and maintain excellent open lines of effective communication both internally and externally. Whilst maintaining a positive "can do" approach to all tasks, whilst being approachable at all times. You will hold a Transport Manager CPC certificate with the view to being placed on the companies Operating License. To problem solve and have the ability to route, taking into consideration account profit and productivity. To ensure that Waste Transport is providing a safe and cost-effective day to day operation that meets, if not exceeds, customer expectations, both internal and external. To maximise productivity and achieve company KPI's. Overall responsibility and supervision of drivers, briefing/debriefing and monitoring and managing performance accordingly. To liaise closely with fleet/workshop colleagues to minimise vehicle downtime. Monitor, control and log all driver and vehicle compliance including driver infringements, defect reporting and scheduling planned events To ensure all vehicle defects are reported, completed and logged correctly in line with company procedure. To maximise productivity and achieve company KPI's. Responsibility for all Health & Safety, Regulatory and Legislative compliance within Waste Transport. Monitor and implement any training, including driver CPC. To implement and maintain a weekend & Bank Holiday driver roster. Responsibility of costs with monthly profit & loss reportable.
