is seeking an experienced and highly organised

Logistics & Transport Manager

to lead our onsite logistics, vehicle movement, and transportation operations. This is a key management position responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient flow of vehicles (BMW,BYD and Hyundai) and their parts across our dealership.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily logistics and transport activities across the site, for BMW, BYD and Hyundai Manage a team of drivers, valeters, and logistics staff, ensuring high performance and compliance Coordinate vehicle movements, collections, deliveries, and on-site parking logistics Ensure efficient parts distribution and internal routing between departments Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, keys, deliveries, and stock movements Develop and improve logistical processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational delays Ensure all transport activities comply with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and legal requirements Build strong relationships with internal departments, suppliers, and transport partners Oversee the safe operation and maintenance scheduling of transport fleet vehicles Support dealership management with operational planning, reporting, and forecasting

About You

Experience in logistics, transport management, or dealership operations (automotive experience preferred) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and organise a team Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities Confident using IT systems, scheduling tools, and stock/vehicle management software Highly organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Full UK driving licence (ideally with experience driving a range of vehicle sizes)
