London Spirit are recruiting for both a Men's and Women's Team Manager, please indicate within your Cover Letter which role you are applying for.

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE



This role will have variable hours as below:

January to end of June - an average of around 10 hours per week, varied Monday to Sunday. July to end of August - a full-time role, including travel and overnight hotel stays with the London Spirit team for the duration of The Hundred Competition (circa 5 weeks).

KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE



To provide world-class operational, logistical, and administrative support to the London Spirit Men's/Women's team, ensuring seamless travel, accommodation, scheduling, equipment management, financial reconciliation, and compliance processes.

The role supports the coaching staff and players by creating a safe, well-organised and positive environment, facilitating effective communication, and maintaining high standards across all match-day and training operations. Close collaboration is required with the Head of Operations, Women's/Men's Team Manager, Head Coach, Director of Cricket, and wider ECB and venue staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES



Travel & Accommodation



Arrange all accommodation and domestic travel requirements for the London Spirit squad. Facilitate hotel room allocations, bookings and baggage transportation. Assist in management of team spaces in hotels and at grounds. Lead on family provision assistance for players/staff members and general support and troubleshooting Organise catering requirements at hotels, grounds and social activities. Arrange team dinners/functions, as appropriate.




Visas, Accreditation & Compliance



Liaise with ECB on applications for visas and work permits for non-UK nationals. Liaise with the ECB to ensure all accreditation and Players and Match Officials Areas (PMOA) regulations are adhered to. Scheduling and execution of induction processes and ensure completion of ECB/PCA modules.




Catering & Hospitality



Organise catering requirements at hotels, grounds and social activities. Arrange team dinners/functions, as appropriate.




Daily Scheduling & Operations



Outline and update the daily schedule for the players. Match-day and practice/ prep-day movement, logistics and communications. Liaise with staff at other grounds and MCC staff about operational matters (arrival times, dietary requirements, parking, etc.). Assist Security and Medical staff where required. Submit team sheets to match officials and undertake in-match duties as required. Manage all media and commercial activity requests and logistics.




Equipment, Kit & Procurement



Assist Head of Cricket Operations with procurement processes, including coaching or cricket equipment, medical resources and supplements. Lead on assisting players with helmet procurement and compliance. Management and logistics of cricket department kit, clothing and equipment requirements, including out-of-season secure storage.




Financial & Administrative Management



Reconcile accounts and assist in budget management and updates. Ensure accurate record keeping for any spending on the London Spirit credit card. Other London Spirit administration, as required.




Communications & Player Support



Support pre and post-competition communication for all cricket department players and staff. Allocate players' and staff complimentary tickets. Help create and execute team affinity activities and gestures during the competition.




HEALTH & SAFETY



Responsible for the safety of yourself and others through adherence to all venues (and legal) safety rules and procedures. Report any unsafe practices, equipment or circumstances as appropriate. Comply fully with relevant security policies and procedures. Be familiar with fire procedures and evacuation procedures.




PERSON SPECIFICATIONS & SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS



Very strong knowledge of cricket and the logistical and administrative tasks related to matches and team environments. Extremely well-organised and able to multi-task. High-level problem-solving skills and motivation. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to work confidently and effectively with high-profile individuals. A personable and empathetic approach, particularly through busy times. * Flexible approach to working hours.
