Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated London Underground labourers to support our teams of electrical contractors during a ongoing electrical installation project within the London Underground network. This role is vital for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and smooth operation of London Underground services. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in a highly regulated and dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist with the installation of underground electrical infrastructure Support team members in transporting materials from vans to on-site, which will vary depending on the station you are issued to work at Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision while adhering to safety protocols Help with setting up safety barriers and signage during worksites Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Qualifications

LU Sentinel Card Preferred

CSCS Card - Mandatory

Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or similar manual labor roles is preferred but not required Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces

Strong commitment to safety procedures and protocols

Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to underground work sites is advantageous Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality Ability to work flexible hours as required by project schedules

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 120.00-150.00 per day
