We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, to deliver goods to clients and customers Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times or issues Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and logs Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all aspects of the role

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries Ability to perform heavy lifting when required Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Strong organisational skills for route planning and time management Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
