Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Courier Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial driving experience, particularly with luton and panel van of at least two years. This role involves delivering goods efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining excellent communication with team members and clients.

Pick up of goods is in SW19, Merton, 11-12 hour shifts Monday Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
(The Monday is optional)

Pick up time Is flexible you can collect from 11 am till 2 pm and have a large time window

You can also keep the van during the week

160 Per shift, paid monthly

Responsibilities

Operate long wheel based vans driving long distance safely and ensure safe delivery of goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. two years proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
