Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Class One (CE) Long Distance Truck Driver to join our team at TS Transport (Scotland) Ltd. This role is essential for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety on the road. Based in Scotland, you will play a crucial part in our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling of goods.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (Class One (CE) ) required. Proven experience as a long distance truck driver. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
