Job Title: Loss Prevention Manager (South)

Location: South Region

Role Overview: The Loss Prevention Manager will work collaboratively with retail Area Managers, Store Managers, and the Distribution Centre to reduce stock loss and improve profitability. This role includes providing Loss Prevention training and raising awareness among colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Coach store colleagues, Managers, and Area Managers to achieve stock loss targets. Conduct Loss Prevention audits to support process compliance and improvements. Provide data insights to help Area Managers identify opportunities. Support the Regional Manager, Area Managers, and stores with theft incidents, major incidents, and investigations. Complete investigations across the distribution network. Generate incident reports and collate evidence to support criminal prosecutions. Act as a visible partner to stakeholders across the business and in stores. Serve as the custodian for accurate reporting of security incidents to Area Managers, supporting them in understanding their risk areas. Demonstrate agility in your approach, ruthlessly prioritising work across stores to maximise time and effectiveness. Work remotely in stores while also attending the office and other locations as required. Lead the implementation of security and shrinkage procedures, improving security measures within stores to reduce loss. Coach and provide advice to store leadership teams and AMs to conduct thorough investigations independently. Complete complex investigations on high profile shrink and security risks. Support stores that have experienced assaults, advising on conflict management and ensuring staff do not put themselves in unnecessary danger. Act as an ambassador for security culture, influencing others on desired behaviours when in stores. Continuously review successes and opportunities, agreeing on priorities with Store and Area Managers. Review cash controls and provide support to minimise loss. Occasional out of hours incident support. Lead and deliver the stores annual stocktake cycle process. Lead the LP approach for the new store opening process, scoping for CCTV / intruder alarm / access control.

Essential Skills / Requirements:

Exceptional organisational skills. Understanding of PACE code of practice within internal and external investigations. Proficient with Microsoft applications, I.e.. Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to work effectively when under pressure. Experience working within Loss Prevention function 2+ years. Experience working within discount retail sector. Full clean driving licence.
