Lunch Time Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a nurturing lunch time assistant to cover staff lunches between 10.30 and 2.00pm 5 days
Responsibilities are:
To supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well being
Manage behaviour and maintain a positive nurturing environment
Help set up the room for sleep and meal times and clear away ensuring meeting all health and safety requirements are adhered to
Assist children with eating and serving food
Create a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere for children
Play and engage with children supporting them with their individual development needs
Adhere to health and safety requirements
Being part of the cleaning rota within the communal areas of the nursery
Knowledge of child development is an important aspect of this role
Experience of working with chidlren is desirable
This position is subject to an Enhance Disclosure Check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Work Location: In person
