Lunch Time Support Supervisor
Job Description
Objectives of the post
To support the staff within the room to supervise children during lunchtime. Providing stimulating and engaging activities whilst promoting positive behaviour and social interactions during meal times.
Hours of work
We are looking for someone for 20 hours per week, from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm. Monday to Friday (We can consider job share if 2 or more candidates apply)
Key responsibilities of the post
Support staff in the supervision of children during lunch times by:
Encourage children to eat their meals and try all foods
Support older children to self service their lunch
Promote good hygiene, assisting younger children to wash their hands and supervising older children to do so
Support and model table manners and using cutlery correctly
Supervise children during play times, providing engaging and stimulating activities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
