12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday (7.5 hours per week) - Term time only - Permanent

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Assistant to join our friendly team at Christ the King Catholic School. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the school community by helping to ensure that lunchtime is a safe, enjoyable, and positive experience for all our pupils.

We're looking for someone who loves working with children and brings a warm, friendly approach to the role. You'll be patient, reliable, and enjoy being part of a supportive team that shares our school's caring ethos. Good communication skills and a positive, encouraging manner with pupils will help make lunchtimes a happy and welcoming experience for everyone.

Key responsibilities:

Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during the lunch break Encouraging good table manners and healthy eating habits Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children's wellbeing Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean and safe lunchtime environment Working as part of a supportive team to ensure all children feel included and cared for

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and can help create a happy and safe atmosphere for all pupils during lunchtime.
