Job Introduction

We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant with immediate effect, to join our friendly and supportive team.

You will need to be a good time keeper, confident when dealing with pupils, a good communicator, a calm organiser and be able to work well in a team. Previous experience and a first aid qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

The post involves:-

Supervision of the children at lunchtime in the hall, classrooms and outside areas, encouraging good table manners and supporting healthy eating. Being aware of children in school with specific medical needs. Helping children with personal cleanliness and hygiene. Attending relevant training and courses as required Supervising, organising play activities and encouraging children to participate in games and activities Promoting independence, positive play and positive behaviour Ensuring the safety and welfare of all our children at all times Administering minor first aid (training will be provided)

Hours are 11.45 to 13.15, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Pay Grade - A1
