Role Overview & Purpose

As a key member of our cutting shop team, you will play an essential role in our manufacturing process--ensuring components are cut with precision, efficiency, and quality. Your contribution will help keep production running smoothly and support our mission to deliver exceptional equipment to customers around the globe.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Read and understand engineering drawings Supervise the given machine during operation Load and unload various cuts of material to suit the job Place all components on pallets and label accordingly Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of machines Ensure all scrap metal is cleared and deposited in the skip area Carry out any relevant training required Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs. Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system. Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Essential Skills -

Previous experience working in a Cutting Shop/Machine Shop Knowledge of operating CNC Machines Must have knowledge of various types of steel and density. Communication - Able to communicate problems/issues at all team members Initiative - Ability to work on their own or as part of their team Versatility/Adaptability - Ability to adjust to change e.g. job machine/process Problem Solving - Ability to fault find, trouble shoot, diagnose and resolve issues Quality - Comply with quality regulations & standards, attention to detail Available to work flexible hours when required with notice

Experience using CNC machines or manual mill is essential*
