Job Summary:

The Machine Minder is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery used in the production of Tiffin Sandwiches. This role ensures that equipment runs efficiently, safely, and produces high-quality products that meet company standards. The Machine Minder plays a vital role in maintaining smooth production flow and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and oversee assigned food manufacturing machinery, ensuring proper functioning throughout the production shift. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections at end of shift and report any problems to management. Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly to minimize production delays. Follow safety protocols and ensure that all machinery is operated in compliance with health and safety regulations. Ability to read and fill out correct paperwork adhering to BRC requirments Support other team members within the sealing department to meet production targets. Assist with cleaning and sanitizing machinery in accordance with food safety standards. Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet daily production targets. Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machinery and production processes.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food manufacturing or industrial machinery operation preferred. Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to food manufacturing environment, including noise, temperature variations, and sanitizing agents. Compliance with all safety and hygiene protocols.
