The Role:



As Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running machinery in a fast-paced production environment. Your duties will include operating a variety of machinery to produce high quality fabrics to customer specifications. You will be responsible for maintaining our high-quality standards and minimising waste and downtime. This role involves Data entry on various systems, accurately recording production data for use throughout the business, using the Company's in-house computer system.

Once you become fully trained and competent to run our assets, part of your role will be to share that knowledge and train our existing staff or new joiners.

Full training will be given on both the process and role, but previous manufacturing experience would be extremely useful.

You will work an average of 42 hours per week on a rotating 12 hour shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, (2 days/2 nights followed by 4 days off). Shift start and finish times are: 06:45 to 18:45 for day shift, 18:45 to 06:45 for night shift.



Salary is paid monthly.



The Candidate:



Previous machine/production/ operator experience

. Very good awareness of Health & Safety practice

Previous experience of working night shifts would be beneficial

Happy to work within a fast-moving production environment

Looking for a career within manufacturing

Textile manufacturing knowledge would be useful but is not essential
