We are seeking a skilled and professional Machine Operator to join our Overhead power- line construction teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating tracked plant installing electricity poles. We are looking for high safety standards, and someone that understands and adheres to site safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in skilled plant operations.
Duties
Basic Maintenance of plant and machinery, & daily checks carried out
Recovery and installation of old and new electricity poles.
Some underground cabling maybe required from time to time
Good communication skills required, interaction and understanding with experienced onsite staff
Good knowledge of Safe dig and utility drawings, training can be given on this
Knowledge of CAT and Genny operations
Good time keeping skills
Willing to progress and learn new skills
Experience
Proven experience in machine operations.
Experience in overhead power-line construction would be an advantage
Training records and current in date machine tickets required .
Competence in different types of terrain

Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
