We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various machinery, ensuring the efficient operation of our production processes. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor machinery, press break, guillotine setting, roll forming machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Assemble components using hand tools and basic maths skills to ensure precise measurements and fit.
Conduct routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any operational issues.
Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
Proficient in using hand tools and basic maths for assembly tasks.
Experience in materials handling and understanding of safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
