Machine Operator - Supplements Manufacturing

Arena Health Ltd - Ashford, Kent

We are an established, fast growing company looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable machine operator to join our at our Ashford premises.

You will be operating our encapsulating machines.

Our working hours are

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00.

Duties:

Setting up the machines as instructed Operating control and quality checks throughout production Polishing the finished product and metal detecting Perform machine/equipment hygiene and changeovers Filling all relevant production paperwork with accuracy Maintain high levels of hygiene

Skills/Qualifications:

Must be physically fit and able to cope with the rigours of fast paced environment including standing, walking, reaching, lifting medium weight loads and bending duties. You need to have worked in a factory environment You need experience in setting up machines, operating machines and mechanical troubleshooting.
Although we do require previous experience in a factory environment, a full training scheme will be implemented in your first week including the opportunity to gain internationally recognised certifications.

Additional requirements:

Previous machine operative experience in a food manufacturing environment is

desirable

Strong knowledge of a heavy duty and high-speed machinery Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations. Working level of speaking English Ability to read English Numerate (able to understand and work with numbers) Good attention to detail Read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions. Perform basic maths using a calculator Basic computer knowledge Accurate and diligent way of working Work well under pressure Maintain good working relationships with peers Organise and prioritise workload

7.30am to 4pm with a 30 minute lunch break

This job role is not suitable for remote work.
