Machine Operator - Day Shift

Pay Rate:

12.21 per hour

Contract Type:

Temp-to-Perm (12 weeks)

We are currently recruiting for a

Machine Operator

to join a busy and growing manufacturing and distribution company based in the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in machine operation looking for a stable, long-term role.

Shift Pattern:

Mon - Thurs 07.30am - 16.30pm / 07.30am - 13.30pm Friday
Flexibility is needed though as the role may potentially change to,

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of machinery including punch press, manual equipment, and bending tools Cut materials to specified lengths using saws Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately Perform basic machining tasks including measurements and calculations Pack and prepare finished products for dispatch Assist with general labouring and warehouse duties Manual handling and heavy lifting as required

Requirements:

Previous experience operating industrial machinery Ability to confidently read and follow engineering drawings Strong practical skills with the ability to work independently Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks Must be available to work fixed day shifts
