NORMAL WORKING HOURS:

Weekdays, 8am-4.30pm (3.30pm on a Friday!)

HOLIDAYS:

30 days per year (includes public holidays)

ESSENTIALS:

2 Years Woodworking Machinery Experience; Right to Work in the UK

Our product range includes kitchen worktops, breakfast bar worktops, kitchen island worktops, kitchen splashbacks and upstands, as well as a variety of wet wall options. And, to ensure a professional end-result for all of our customers we also stock a range of bathroom worktops, PVC ceiling panels, vinyl click flooring and installation aids.

Overview


We currently have an excellent opportunity for a skilled craftsman with a proven track record in wood machining, preferably gained within the manufacturing sector, to work in a busy workshop manufacturing commercial and domestic products.

Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you will work closely with our production management to help deliver a first-class service.

Have experience operating Beam saws, Edge banders, Bonding systems, CNC Routers, Double end tenons, Postformers. Are educated to standard grade level and have a minimum of 2 standard grades including English and Mathematics or equivalent. Have a good knowledge and understanding of building materials as well as practical skills with regards to DIY is preferred but not essential. Are adaptable with a real customer focus and have excellent communication skills. Are assertive and passionate about the role, and demonstrate a desire to go that 'extra mile'. Enjoy building relationships with a wide variety of people, see a complex high volume workload as a real challenge and above all, have what it takes to keep us moving forward Will engage in development training to support and enhance your competency and capability Have experience working at pace in a fast growth, dynamic business environment, ideally with manufacturing experience
