Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating machinery within a manufacturing environment. This role involves use of a slitter within a clean room environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control manufacturing performance against targets

Enthusiasm and drive

Good problem solving skills

deliver on expected outputs and recommend improvements where possible

manufacture quality product against specification

ensure sufficient stock levels to keep lines running, minimising any downtime

Proactively support the Team Leaders to enhance the implementation of the production plan.

Adherence to H&S, Quality and Regulatory requirements

Completing all daily tasks in a timely and accurate manner

Completing all data input accurately and in a timely manner

Operating all aspects of our machinery following training

Completing all data input accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand tooling and machinery operations. Experience in materials handling and warehouse operations is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
