We are seeking a skilled Machine Operators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of machinery within a manufacturing environment.

This role requires proficiency in machinery, materials handling, and basic maths, along with the ability to work effectively with hand tools and logic controllers. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and output. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting for wear. Set up machines for production runs, including line adjustments and changeovers. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic repairs as necessary. Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any discrepancies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machine operation. Competence in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Experience with hand tools. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
