Job Description

We are currently hiring an experienced and dependable Machine Operator to support our pure chrome metal production operations. You will be responsible for operating multiple (vertical borer) machines, ensuring precision work and quality standards. You will be responsible for measuring of equipment, working to tolerances, ability to follow detailed instructions and a proactive approach to teamwork and safety.

Full training will be given, however previous knowledge in machine operations will be an advantage.

We are keen to speak with Machine Operators with the following:

Ideally will have experience of operating vertical borer machines or similar in a manufacturing, metals, or heavy industrial setting

Basic understanding of measurement tools and tolerance limits

Ideally will have forklift or mobile equipment certification.

Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Understanding safety practices in an industrial environment

Commitment to safety and teamwork

Training Rate paid at 80% including shift rate - Annual Salary 32,287.00 including shift rate

Increases to full rate upon completion of training and competency sign-off.

Fully Trained - Annual Salary - 41,059.00 including shift rate

Hours of Work - 3 shifts, mornings, nights afternoons

Overtime (paid at x1.5 and 2.0)
