Overview

We are seeking skilled Machine Operators (x 2) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery used in the manufacturing/ production area. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are a privately owned cosmetic manufacturer based in Blackpool FY4. The company is expanding & looking for new candidates to improve our new team.

Duties

Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. Set up and adjust programmable machines to meet production specifications. Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the manufacturing/ production environment. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure longevity. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards. Assist in assembly tasks as required, ensuring that all components are all correct and available for manufacturing/ production function as intended. Drive efficiency and productivity whilst maintaining product quality. Required experience

Skills

Experience with packaging machines is highly desirable. Knowledge of manufacturing/ production processes and equipment operation. Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage in a manufacturing setting. Experience in materials handling within a manufacturing/ production environment is an advantage. Ability to work with tooling equipment safely and efficiently. Strong basic English/ Maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks/ documentation. Previous experience in manufacturing/ production is beneficial.
