The Position/Role



Overview:



The throughput of machined parts that need to be further processed after the machining operation ensures workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities:



The successful candidate will be responsible for the final processing of parts from the machine shop and ensuring the actions are accurately logged into the system when complete.

The tasks include but are not restricted to :-

Lapping Hydraulic Testing Spraying Deburring Washing Swarf collection and organisation Machine Tool Operation - Some Forklift Driving will be required. (License not essential as training will be supplied to the right candidate)

Skills and Attributes



Ability to work unsupervised or as a small team Excellent timekeeping and deadline management. Basic computer skills to input days' work Excellent interpersonal skills. Some engineering experience would be a bonus, but full training will be provided. Ability to work basic machinery safely and as trained. Health and safety awareness to contribute to the clean and safe working area.

Additional Information



26,000per annum for initial training period working day shift. (Plus 22% when working double day shift as expected on successful completion of training) 39 hours per week (Shift work will be expected) Easy to access by walking, various public transports links or free parking on site.
