Job Description

We are seeking experienced

Machine Operator Subcontractors

to support our site operations. This role involves operating and maintaining heavy machinery as well as assisting with general construction tasks when required. Subcontractors must be able to work safely, reliably, and in coordination with our site management team.

Scope of Work

Machine Operation & Maintenance

Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and effectively. Carry out basic daily checks and routine maintenance of machines. Ensure machines are kept in good working order and report any defects.

Machine-Based Tasks

Digging foundations and trenches. Constructing and preparing roadways. Ground leveling and site preparation. Rolling and compacting materials. Crushing and material handling. Assisting with loading and unloading of materials using machinery where required.

Non-Machine Tasks

Manual unloading and movement of materials on site. Supporting fencing installations. Assisting with drainage and ducting works. Carrying out general site duties as instructed by the site manager.
Requirements

Proven experience as a machine operator in construction or civil engineering. Valid operator licenses/certifications (e.g., CPCS, NPORS or equivalent). Own PPE and ability to travel to site. Full compliance with health & safety standards. Flexible, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a site team.
Rates & Reviews

Starting daily rate: 125 - 135 (equivalent to 30,000 per annum).

3-month review:

potential increase to

145/day

6-month review:

potential increase to

.

9-month review:

potential increase to

165/day

for consistently high performance. Further reviews available for long-term subcontractors. Payment terms to be agreed upon contract award.
