Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker / Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and tool design, with the ability to create and maintain precision tools used in various production processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical skills to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and tooling.

Duties

Design, fabricate, and assemble tools and fixtures using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Perform grinding, milling, and welding tasks to create high-quality tools. Maintain and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal performance. Utilise hand tools and fabrication techniques to achieve precise specifications. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new tooling solutions for production needs. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. Document tooling processes and maintain accurate records of modifications and repairs.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tool Maker or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace.
