We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Mail & Porterage Supervisor to ensure the safe, compliant, and timely delivery of mail and porterage services. In this role, you will oversee your on-site team and ISS supply partners, taking full accountability for service performance while delivering a high-quality experience to a high-profile site and VIP stakeholders.


The Mail & Porterage Supervisor role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands-on operational involvement, requiring a strong understanding of service delivery, contract management, and team leadership.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your team consistently meets agreed service standards, compliance requirements, and budgetary expectations while promoting a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities


Oversee the on-site team to ensure services are delivered effectively, on time, and to the agreed standards. Ensure all supplier services meet contractual timescales, service requirements, and quality standards. Develop a strong understanding of the relevant contract to manage services within budget and approved values. Track and manage contract costs, providing clear and timely reporting as required. Implement, maintain, and ensure understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems across the team. Promote a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment for all team members. Build and maintain strong working relationships with ISS building users, customers, and internal teams.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications


Strong experience in supervisory or operational management roles within facilities services. Hands-on approach with the ability to lead and support a team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong understanding of contract management and service delivery standards. Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders and site users. Committed to promoting a safe, compliant, and professional working environment. Flexible and adaptable to the demands of a high-profile site and fast-paced operational environment.
