We are seeking a dedicated Mailroom Supervisor, at HMRC Bristol to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our mailroom services. You will lead a team of operatives, ensuring an exceptional guest experience aligned with client specifications, while upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.
What you'll do:
Oversee all mailroom operations, ensuring services meet contractual and client expectations.
Manage and support mailroom staff, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Ensure compliance with company and client policies, including health & safety, security, infection control, and COSHH regulations.
Wear appropriate uniform and PPE at all times.
Deliver staff training on operational, legal, and client-specific procedures.
Conduct regular audits to ensure service standards and compliance.
Maintain and update mailroom software systems and complete administrative tasks as required.
Report building defects and equipment faults promptly.
Coordinate supplies ordering and distribution.
Liaise regularly with the client and attend team/client meetings.
Lead staff briefings and collect payroll-related information.
