Maintenance Assistant

who's hands-on, high energy, and ready to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Your Mission:

As Maintenance Assistant, you'll work closely with the Maintenance Manager to make sure everything in the hotel is in top shape. From routine checks to quick fixes, you'll help create a safe, well-maintained, and vibrant space for our guests and crew.

What You'll Be Doing:

Hands-On Help

- carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.

Painting & Decorating

- take on touch-ups, re-painting, and general decorating to keep the hotel looking fresh and stylish.

Safety First

- assist with compliance checks for safety, fire, and health regulations.

Upkeep

- support with the maintenance of equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and the overall property.

Teamwork

- work alongside the Maintenance Manager, contractors, and other departments to get the job done.

Problem Solving

- respond quickly to issues and find practical solutions.

Communication

- keep your manager and team updated with clear, positive communication.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in maintenance, engineering, or a similar role (hospitality experience is a plus but not essential). Practical skills in general repairs, painting, and basic electrical/plumbing. A flexible, can-do attitude, ready to take on a variety of tasks. A team player who enjoys working with others and can stay cool under pressure.
